ADHD is the presence of inattentive or hyperactive-impulsive behavior symptoms such as lack of attention, failure to follow through on tasks, poor listening or organization skills, forgetfulness, impulsiveness, trouble focusing or multitasking, restlessness or excessive activity, and others. These symptoms cause clinically significant impairment of social, occupational, or academic functioning.
